2 lb (900 g) beef roast
2 tbsp olive oil
4 garlic cloves, minced
2 tsp fresh rosemary, chopped
1 tsp thyme
1 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp paprika

2 carrots, peeled
